You may be apprehensive about using and getting comfortable in a new system. That’s why our comprehensive training plan includes a multitude of resources you can take at your own pace, along with in-person instructor-led sessions.

Learning Program

You’ll find a learning program dedicated to your specific role on Workday Learning. This learning program includes instructor-led training (the in-person portion of your learning), but it also includes other items to complete. Everything mentioned below can be found by clicking the learning program link.

Your instructor-led training is only part of your learning program. After you register for your in-person session, make sure to return to your learning program to view the other items you need to complete, including an additional eLearning course meant to support and solidify information and tasks from the ILT session.

STEP 1: Register for an instructor-led session. Each session is four hours long, and sessions are being held until Nov. 19. All sessions are the same; you need to attend only one. 

STEP 2: Complete these introductory eLearnings on Workday Learning before attending your in-person session. (Find them in your learning program.)

  • Navigating Workday Student (30-minute eLearning)
  • Reports in Workday Student (30-min eLearning)

STEP 3: Attend your in-person session.

STEP 4: Get help in the moment as you begin using Workday.

  • Visit Workday@WashU for additional training resources, including step-by-step tutorials, videos and more.
  • View the Course and Section Management eLearning (30 minutes) as a refresher on what you learned in person. (Find it in your learning program.)

Beginning Sept. 23, we will offer daily drop-in office hours within the schools and units for further help in person and via Zoom.
