Instructional Designer

The instructional designer will be responsible for designing and developing the training needed to support Student Sunrise, a complex, multi-project initiative that will replace the university’s core student administrative IT systems with Workday Student.

  • Develop culturally sensitive and situation-appropriate training materials – print and multi-media – to help achieve program implementation and change management goals
  • Participate in the evaluation of training needs and recommend effective solutions to achieve successful adoption across a wide and varied environment
  • Collaborate effectively with subject matter experts, the project team, the Training Lead, and implementation partners to ensure deliverables are timely, and risks are identified and communicated appropriately.

Change Management Coordinator

This position supports the work of the Organizational Change Management (OCM) team of the Student Sunrise Project and coordinates a variety of communications, readiness and training activities and resources. Responsibilities include:

  • Ensures effective project management for the change management work stream.
  • Coordinates end user training for Workday Student.
  • Supports CRM, LMS, and other training tools.

Report Writer/ Analyst

This position will perform report lifecycle activities, including participate in design sessions to capture requirements and Workday report development. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Gather, build, test and debug Workday reports & Dashboards.
  • Follow established standards and change management processes including report documentation.
  • Analyze existing data and help map to future data structure in Workday as it relates to reporting.
  • Ensure the reporting requirements are met across all functional areas.
  • Develop report specifications across all functional areas (e.g. Student Recruiting & Admissions, Financial Aid, Curriculum Management, Academic Records, etc.).
  • Support the analysis of delivered Workday reports to determine if they meet requirements.
  • Validate the audit and reconciliation processes associated with reporting.
  • Provide, cultivate and foster excellent customer service.
  • Document existing processes as they relate to reporting current state.
  • Support the establishment of a post-go-live reporting capability.

Business Analyst

This position evaluates business systems and how they align with user needs. Responsibilities include:

  • Performing tasks to achieve an understanding of business change needs, assessing the impact of those changes
  • Capturing, analyzing, documenting and managing requirements for assigned projects
  • Supporting the communication and delivery of those requirements with relevant parties

Integration Developer

The integration developer will support information technology solutions by creating new, modifying, and supporting existing software applications. This role will undertake complex projects requiring specialized technical knowledge and innovative thinking. Responsibilities include:

  • Documenting and analyzing business practices and workflows related to information technology solutions
  • Performing application lifecycle activities, including:
    • Coding, monitoring, maintaining, testing and debugging software applications
    • Following established change control processes
    • Facilitating code reviews and enforcing code standards
    • Developing and executing test plans
    • Researching and evaluating new technology, products, specialized hardware and tools to optimize development and functionality of applications
  • Collaborating with and making recommendations to management, campus partners, cross-functional project teams, software vendors, and external service providers

Experience developing integrations with Workday or other cloud/SaaS providers is a plus. Experience developing API-focused integrations and middleware is a plus.
