John joined the Student Sunrise project in December 2022 as a Technical Writer supporting the Academic Foundations & Admissions workstream. He has been with the university since 2017, working as a communications specialist in Arts & Sciences. Previously, he was the technical writing lead at a software company.
John plays the mandolin and tenor banjo, mainly for bluegrass and Irish traditional music. When he’s not at work, he’s spending time with his wife and two daughters, reading fantasy and sci-fi novels, running, or playing Dungeons & Dragons.
