How is access to reports and report data determined?

Your role’s security permissions determine which reports you can access, as well as the specific data that appears for you in the reports. While you and your coworker may both have access to a report, you may not have access to all the fields (i.e. columns) or results (i.e. rows).

For example, if you run a report for students that contains demographic information, but your security is set to only see student information for McKelvey and not certain demographic details, then results will return only McKelvey students, and the columns with the restricted demographic information will either show as blank or not be visible.
