Allyson joined the Student Sunrise project team in May 2023. Allyson is part of the technical team, working as a report writer and analyst.
Allyson previously worked at Austin Community College (in Texas) for 9 years, where she was an associate professor of technical communication as well as assistant department chair. In her administrative role, her primary function was to work with our various databases to resolve student data issues, perform annual program review, and set and track department goals.
Allyson’s published two poetry chapbooks, and her first haiku collection is slated to come out later in 2023. When not at work, she is teaching Pilates out of her home studio in Soulard, walking her dog, writing haiku, and doing embroidery or quilting.
